Episode 4: Sleeping with Hisui

This week Alain Mendez from Reverse Thieves comes on the show to talk about one of his greatest loves in life: Con Panels and the Gundam Unicorn Blu-Ray vs. DVD  debate. Jon highlights some anime related iPhone and iPod touch applications. Scott half-heartedly defends Sora no Woto  and describes his lackluster experience watching Sleeping with Hinako.

Otaku in Review Podcast – Sleeping with Hisui
Filed Under: Podcast by JanaiMar.05, 2010This week on episode 4 of the Otaku in Review Podcast, Scott invited Alain Mendez (@hisuiRT) of reversethieves.com to come on the show. In this episode, we talk about our experiences and feelings toward the totally perverted educational DVD Sleeping with Hinako. We also highlight the recent Gundam Unicorn Blu-ray vs DVD debate, and my yawn-inducing experience with Sora no Woto. For iPhone and iPod Touch users, I also talk about a nice array of anime-related iPhone / iPod Touch apps you should check out!

While I understand why it’s unfair to hate a movie due to it being inferior to previous creations of it’s director, I still hated Ponyo as it had:
-An incromprehensible plot
-Unrealistic characters
-Annoying characters
-Annoying ending song
-Ponyo
-etc…
